Article Abstract:

The author, a physicist and a native of Germany is interested in serving the mission of the church by enabling faith and science to meet and unfold their full potential within the person of the scientist. This excerpt, drawn from the now out-of-print book, The Vineyard: Scientists in the Church, highlights the growth of technology (for good and ill) since World War I, and the relationship it might have to theology, especially Christian theology. She asks, “What kind of theology would be relevant to the world of technology today?” The entire chapter may be found on the web site under Out-Of-Print Books.
