Article Abstract:
Encouraging Catholic scientists to play their full part in the life of the Church, is the main role of the SIQS. In this article the author asks in different words what Father Robert Brungs, SJ often voiced, “Where are the Christian explorers in science? Is this the only area in the world to which we will send no apostles?” It is important, however, that scientists recruited for this ministry in the church have a grounding in theology as well. To that end the SIQS has set up various study days and opportunities for scientists to educate themselves in theology.
